COLOR BLINDNESS
Color blindness is used to describe mild to severe difficulties with identifying various colors and shades of colors.  Color blindness is a result of a lack of one or more of the color receptors which are red, blue and green.  Most color difficulties are with red and/or green.  About 4% of males have a color defect; however, less than 1% of females have this trait.
